We need activities, volunteers, and programs, to ensure that these people can cover their basic needs (Relief International, 2023). The number of asylum seekers is rising, and the flow of refugees too when comparing the years 2021 and 2022 (Ansa et al., 2022). Therefore refugees are a major issue for the country. Migration is caused by sociopolitical factors, demographic & economic factors, and last but not least environmental factors (National Geographic, 2010). More than half of the migrants come to Greece from countries in conflict, mainly the Syrian Arab Republic. Afghanistan and Iraquis comprise the next biggest group. Some are forced to leave their place of habitual residence because of natural disasters (Heilmann, 2015). It was found that individual support is greatly needed. Decisions must be made while being mindful of the fact that the future generation is the children, and some of them are refugees.
2023-03-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 International Education and Research Journal (IERJ)https://ierj.in/journal/index.php/ierj/article/view/2637THE LEADING CAUSES OF SLEEP DEPRIVATION IN TEENAGERS2023-03-22T10:52:13+00:00Nya Fassaleabc@gmail.com
As time elapsed, it became clear that teenagers were not getting the necessary amount of sleep; thus resulting in sleep deprivation. An extensive investigation was conducted using internet resources such as Hopkins Medical to gain information about this topic. Many surveys from institutions such as Stanford were also used to acquire sufficient information. As a result, it was determined that early school start times led to teen sleep deprivation, as well as homework overload and increased usage of technology. This information is useful since teens go through significant changes, and in order for those changes to continue, a teen must get enough sleep. It is also important as it has been proven that a lack of sleep can lead to a variety of mental as well as physical health problems.
2023-03-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 International Education and Research Journal (IERJ)https://ierj.in/journal/index.php/ierj/article/view/2639ART USING COLOR IN RELATION TO EMOTIONS2023-03-22T10:58:00+00:00Aanya S. Angadiabc@gmail.com
Art is defined as the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form (e.g., painting, sculpting, drawing, etc.) producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power [9]. Since the link between color and psychology was discovered there have been many new breakthroughs. Some of these breakthroughs have been due to an increase in funding [2]. This article explores how colors have a major effect on how people feel (calm, sad, angry etc.), and even in dismal high school classrooms, emotions reveal themselves in the form of art and colors. Looking at the works of famous artists (Leonardo Da Vinci, Henri Matisse, Michelangelo etc.) a small notice of the use of color, posture, and expression of the art adds a different level of perception and appreciation. The perception of a color assigned to an emotion change, depending upon the person’s previous experiences, influences and the person's psychological response to it.
2023-03-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 International Education and Research Journal (IERJ)https://ierj.in/journal/index.php/ierj/article/view/2640A LITERATURE REVIEW OF THE EFFECTS OF EMOTIONAL VALENCE AND AROUSAL ON MEMORY, WITH A FOCUS ON THE RECOLLECTION OF EMOTIONAL EVENTS 2023-03-22T11:03:37+00:00Rachel Chengabc@gmail.com
How does the valence and arousal of emotions affect the accuracy and recall of emotional events? Emotional valence and arousal are two major components of emotions that affect how the emotions affect the memory of an individual. Research has shown that memories that are emotionally intense and significant to the individual change what information is remembered and recalled easier, depending on the valence and arousal level. The vividness of emotionally intense memories is often better than neutral events, but the accuracy of recall of emotional events are often more inaccurate and inconsistent compared to neutral events.
2023-03-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 International Education and Research Journal (IERJ)https://ierj.in/journal/index.php/ierj/article/view/2641MEMORY ALTERATION2023-03-22T11:05:22+00:00Preet Panditabc@gmail.com
In media, many people view memory-altering technologies as science fiction or used for manipulative reasons, but their impacts and implementations are deeper than that. When we face traumatic experiences and events, our brain takes a long time to recover. There are many different side effects and coping mechanisms which are still being researched and observed. Some of these side effects go as far as unintentionally altering your memory. Depending on the severity, it could reduce normal brain capacity and activity. If we were to alter the memories of said traumatic event, it would serve as damage control and possibly reverse some of the destructive and negative influences it could have on our brains.
2023-03-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 International Education and Research Journal (IERJ)https://ierj.in/journal/index.php/ierj/article/view/2642THE CONCEPT OF LAW AND DHARMA AND IT’S RELEVANCE IN INDIAN JURISPRUDENCE2023-04-01T13:01:06+00:00Lakshmi Kumariabc@gmail.comSaraswati Kumariabc@gmail.com
Two categories can be used to classify the concept of dharma. One is the normative concept, which is said to have come from a norm, for instance, what one ought to do and what one ought not to do (for example, one ought not to steal and one ought to tell the truth), and the other is how it governs an individual's day-to-day activities in their social and personal life. For example, it outlines the responsibilities and obligations that each person has to their family, society, life, and God. Several Dharmasastra, Vedas, and Smritis are where the word "dharma" first appeared. People were ruled by the idea of dharma in ancient times. Prior to it, there weren't any laws created specifically for the society.

Raj Dharma, the king, was tasked with providing the populace with justice through dharma. Santana dharma, Samanaya dharma, Varna dharma, Savadharma, Guna dharma, Stri dharma, and many others are among the several varieties of dharma. If we delve further into the idea of dharma, we find that dharma and law are connected. The constitution was established as the highest law in the current legal system, and no one is above it. Dharma used to be supreme. There are numerous instances in contemporary times where the judiciary has used dharma to guide its conclusions in legal proceedings.
2023-03-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 International Education and Research Journal (IERJ)https://ierj.in/journal/index.php/ierj/article/view/2643ONLINE TEACHING- LEARNING PRACTICES DURING PANDEMIC: A PERCEPTION OF STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OF B. ED PROGRAMME2023-04-01T13:06:17+00:00Dr. Anjali Shokeenabc@gmail.com
The COVID-19 pandemic caused several difficulties for schools, colleges, and universities. Around the world, continuing education is fraught with problems and difficulties for governmental institutions. In addition, they had persistent problems that had an impact on their day-to-day operations during this crisis, such as changes to daily routines, travel limitations, and other problems. Teachers quickly and abruptly embraced digital learning for the teaching-learning process. Online instruction has taken the place of in-person instruction. The present paper focuses on the perception of teachers and students towards online teaching learning activities at the time of Covid pandemic. The researcher had developed a Likert Scale and structured interview questionnaire to explore the perception of teacher educators and students on online teaching learning practices during Covid-19 pandemic. Two five-point Likert Scales (one for teacher educators and one for students) were developed consisting of 12 items each. These tools were sent through Google forms in B. Ed Colleges of GGSIPU in which 202 students and 30 teachers had responded about their perception regarding online teaching learning practices. The responses of teachers’ interview and Likert scale perception is found to be aligned to each other. The teachers have mentioned in interview that they found traditional teaching is better than online teaching which also received high mean average in perception scale. The perception of students was bended towards involving hybrid/blended learning mode in classroom so that they can experience positive features of both online and traditional learning practices.
2023-03-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 International Education and Research Journal (IERJ)https://ierj.in/journal/index.php/ierj/article/view/2645SECURE ENCRYPTED MOBILE : USER REQUIREMENT AND POLICY CONSTRAINTS2023-04-01T13:17:08+00:00AYAN DHANDAabc@gmail.com
There is no stop to technology, every day new tools or techniques are emerging, and with the increase in technologies and use of mobile devices, digital crimes are also increasing. Companies are starting to face an enormous amount of data loss. The world is run by technology and networks and it becomes important for everyone to understand that cyber security, company assets, or the individual’s data are at risk without the protection added to it. The usage of business applications on mobile devices has become common to keep the production environment active. IT companies use updated technologies to protect their data, but attackers are always enhancing new techniques to break through these technologies. Cyber Security becomes important to make sure the assets, information/data, and personal or financial details are safeguarded and not at risk. This paper aims to review the threats and crimes involving mobile devices and discuss the requirement of secure mobile phones including policy constraints of various governments owing to posing significant challenges to public safety.
2023-03-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 International Education and Research Journal (IERJ)https://ierj.in/journal/index.php/ierj/article/view/2646BLENDED LEARNING: RIGHT SOLUTION FOR FUTURISTIC EDUCATION2023-04-01T13:18:59+00:00Abhilasha Kumariabc@gmail.comDr. Vimal Kishorabc@gmail.com
In Online Learning, the students study from home or any other place, that is most convenient for them. They can acquire learning material online. The study materials in online education could be texts, audio, notes, videos, and images. However, the method of study has its benefits and various drawbacks too. Online education is suitable for those who cannot visit or obtain the traditional education method for one reason or the other. Now a days education has changed. A shift in the profile of the student body has changed the face of learning and education. Learning is no longer confined within classroom walls nor are the teachers and students required to be in the same location at the same time. The multiple instructional delivery modalities in blended learning not only accommodate the various learning needs of our students but also give lecturers the freedom and ability to meet other tasks and responsibilities. On-line learning previously rejected as foreign to our distance communities and people’s field-dependent cognitive style is being viewed more favorably as part of a blended learning mode.
2023-03-15T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 International Education and Research Journal (IERJ)
