Present paper studies the perceptions of teachers towards the quality of in-service teacher training programme in Punjab. A sample of 237 primary school teachers from 80 schools of 10 districts (5 high literacy rate and 5 low literacy rate) based on the census of 2011 (Punjab) was taken randomly for the study. Data was collected using the self-constructed In-service teacher training programme’s quality assessment scale. The results of the present study revealed overall positive perceptions of teachers towards the quality of in-service teacher training programmes and do not find any difference in the perception of teachers towards in-service teacher training programmes on the bases of gender as well as with respect to literacy status.</p>}, number={12}, journal={International Education and Research Journal (IERJ)}, author={Sandeep Kumar}, year={2019}, month={Dec.} }
