PARENT EDUCATION STYLES: THE IMPACT OF PARENTS’ TEACHING APPROACHES ON CHILDREN'S DEVELOPMENT
Keywords:
Parent Education Style, Parenting Approaches, Child’s Personality, Learning StyleAbstract
Many factors could affect the development of children: family, schooling, living conditions, genetics, culture, relationships, etc. A small change in one of these aspects could also cause huge differences in children's characteristics, emotions, and behavior. In the family, in particular, parents are the main factor influencing each child. This is because parents are the first "teachers" of any children, and each parent has their own approach to educating their children; some would be very strict, extremely easy, extraordinarily reasonable, or even ignore the children. Thus, this article explores different parenting styles and their effects.
