Ayurveda deals with every aspect of life and Vajikarana is a one of eight major speciality of the Ashtanga Ayurveda. Ayurveda has two aims 1) protection and promotion of health and 2) cure from diseases. Vajikarana Tantra is fulfilling both of them i.e., promotion of sexual health and curing the sexual diseases. Shukra is the last Dhatu produced in the body among the all seven Dhatus. A person with healthy Shukra Dhatu confirms strength, wisdom and power of body. Vajikarana is dedicated to enhancing fertility and rejuvenating reproductive energy as well as management of defective semen, treatment of seminal related disorders. Vajikarana improves the physical, psychological and social health of an individual. As per Charaka Samhita, by proper use of these Vrushya formulations one can get good physique, potency, strength, complexion and sexual health. In Ayurvedic classics other non-medicinal strategies are described like sexual health promoting conduct, behaviour and diet.
