Equity Mutual Funds, Investors, Preference


In an era marked by dynamic financial markets and diverse investment options, understanding investor preferences is paramount for financial institutions and advisors. This study investigates the investors' preferences in the domain of equity mutual funds. The primary data has been collected with a sample size of 172. Statistical tools have been used for the study such as Chi- square test, percentage analysis, frequency analysis with the help of Microsoft excel and SPSS. Business professionals and private employees show a marked inclination towards mutual funds, while graduates and post-graduates favor Systematic Investment Plans (SIP). ECS is leading among the age-groups for the payment of equity mutual funds.
